Franz Ferdinand -- You Could Have It So Much Better
Indie Hipster wannabe Dance Punk poseurs Franz Ferdinand can honestly suck d*cks for Christmas, this music drives me up the wall, with one exception, the Beatles-esque piano ballad Eleanor Put Your Boots Back On, how did they never continue in that vein, I have no idea ... oh wait, yes I do, 'cause they're losers!

Ladytron -- 604
80's drenched and Kraftwerk inspired debut Synthpop classic. These guys brought back the cool to electronica with tons of nostalgia. Playgirl in my mind will always be their greatest track!
Lost Highway
My God Goth music sucks ... lamest of the lame and cheesy as hell, but somehow if you place it into a David Lynch movie it becomes part of the atmosphere, otherwise f*ck these bands!

Sham 69 -- Kings & Queens
Anthemic Punk rock outfit Sham 69, who pretty much invented the hooligan Oi! sound. Funny 'cause as tough as they may seem there are numerous photographs of lead singer Jimmy Pursey, or better yet Jimmy pussy, crying after being accosted by the National Front onstage, nonetheless each and every song on this compilation are classic!

The Monkees -- Pisces, Aquarius, Capricorn & Jones Ltd.
As stupid as The Monkees are they did have a couple of good numbers, one of my favorites and underrated tracks Salesman, a garagy romper, is featured on this ridiculous album, although I make fun of these idiots but there was a time when I was a boy I was obsessed with watching TV reruns on Much Music and thought they were mega cool. And my God they were actually allowed to play their own instruments on most of the album, which had been previously forbidden, but who cares 'cause they're too busy singing to put anyone down, good thing I'm not, so f*ck The Monkees!

D.O.A. -- Bloodied But Unbowed
Early and the best incantation of Canadian Punk Rock band DOA. Honestly I really like this record, it was one of the first albums I ever bought, but I always thought there was something cheesy about DOA, maybe they lacked the American punch or they sit too much in-between the 70's and 80's, whatever it is, I never turn into a super fan.

Lilys -- Better Can't Make Your Life Better
What started off as a pretty good Shoegaze band quickly transformed into a killer Beatles 66' inspired Indie Rock outfit, but they never rose to the prominence they deserved!
