Taj Mahal -- De Ole Folks At Home
This is part of a double album, one is Giant Step, kinda run of the mill 60's electric Blues album, two De Ole Folks At Home is old timey Folk Blues, almost like the sounds of a poor man sitting on his broken porch living in the deep south, definitely a testament to the roots of American music.

One of the great Motown hit makers the Four Tops. Each and every song on this Greatest Hits compilation should have already been embedded in all our minds, unless you were born on Mars. These guys embody the pumpin' Soul Motown sound!

Interplay For 2 Trumpets And 2 Tenors
Pretty much a standard Jazz record, no huge surprises, but still good. The most interesting elements is hearing the "Interplay" between sax players John Coltrane and Bobby Jaspar. Coltrane takes the lead with his wild improvisations while Jaspar tries to follow suit. It's easy to tell the tenors apart, even though Jaspar's style and notes are perfect he lacks Coltrane's ferocious velocity.

Mumford and Sons -- Babel
This piece of sh*t band ruined what had started in the early 2000's, the any instrument goes, Indie Rock, known as New Weird America. They took a killer movement and murdered it right in its tracks. In spite of all their stupidity, beards and banjos, Indie music has taken another turn away from Folk and back to Rock 'n' Roll.
Wild Surf
Man I can't believe this was a pawn shop special! This Del-Fi Surf compilation contains some killer gems from classic and underrated bands during the early days of surf 60 to 64.

Forgotten Rebels -- In Love With The System
Canada's answer to the Sex Pistols, but what I don't get is are they racist? C'mon Bomb The Boats And Feed The Fish sounds pretty bad to me, but at the same time it could be Punk Rock sarcasm. What's worst is I saw the Rebels in the early 2000s, where they switched all their Punk numbers to Thrashcore garbage, sung by what looked like a disheveled Rod Stewart -- so f*cking lame, for a great band.
Motley Crue -- Shout At The Devil
Holy f*ck what a stupid album, their first release is somewhat passable cause' it's got a Dolls-ish Glam Punk quality to it, but Shout At The Devil is a new level of crap!
